10 ASL Signs to Teach Your Baby

See this content in the original post

Teaching your baby simple signs is an additional form of communication. Sign language can help some children communicate with mom/dad before they are able to communicate via verbal speech. You should always pair verbal speech with signs, which is also known as total communication. Here is a list of basic signs to teach your child, along with a video!

  1. Mom/Dad

  2. Yes/No

  3. Eat

  4. Please/Thank You

  5. More

  6. All Done

  7. Milk

  8. Water

  9. Help

  10. Play

  11. I Love You
