Macy is a speech language pathologist, disability advocate and children’s author. While working with children with a multitude of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, speech and language disorders, hearing loss, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental disorders, she has cultivated a passion for not only treating their impairments, but sharing their stories. Her goal is to continue spreading awareness and celebrating diversity through her words and her writing and she prays for continued progress in this ever so important field. thanks for stopping by! now that you’ve read my fancy professional bio, i think it’s time i share some of the fun stuff…
for example, i’m a homebody. i’d take a night on the couch with pizza & netflix over any night on the town. speaking of towns, i live in orange county, california with my handsome husband, our two year old son, jett and our sweet black labrador, miller.
since moving to this property in 2023, we’ve been busy restoring it back to its former glory. we recently filmed part of the historic restoration for a TV show on chip and joanna gaines’ magnolia network and now that filming is over, we’re back to regular life…which, for us, is lots of travel, DIY projects and family time!
