Letters From Mom
If you’re new around here, I share two freebies each month - one for parents to use at home, and one for educators to use in the classroom.
Today is all about PARENTS! I’m sharing my newest resource, called “Letters from Mom.” It is a project very dear to my heart; I still have the many letters my parents have written me over the years.
The idea is simple…
Each fall, before your child begins a new school year, you can use my template to write your child a letter. You can print the letters and handwrite them, or you can type your letter into the template. Either way, save all of the letters in a folder or on your computer and give them to your child on a special day, such as their 18th birthday, high school graduation, etc.
I hope that when you sit down to write about your child each year, you are encouraged to share with them. Tell your child what you think about him/her. Tell them how awesome they are, how proud they make you. Tell them that the world is better because they are living in it!
